When I found out these two were engaged after Pedro proposed to Mark (in the same exact place we did the shoot) I was so excited and couldn’t wait to get some photos of them. The Distillery District is so beautiful! When we found out it was supposed to rain Pedro and Mark were a little apprehensive, but I told them that we would end up with the perfect lighting and it turned out wonderful. Look at those cool reflection shots! I hope to meet their adorable puppy Harloewe soon and get some shots of her too.
Sarah is usually the one who takes photos as she owns Sarah May Photography, but this time she wanted photos taken of her. We initially went to Andrew’s Scenic Acres but got kicked out because they had just closed. We still managed to get a few beautiful shots in front of their flowers. After that we headed to Scotsdale Farm for the rest!
This was a really fun shoot to do. I’ve known Nicky since high school and we have a lot of fun when we get together. It usually involves wine. She asked me to do boudoir photos for her and of course I said yes! The coolest part about the shoot was the bath photos. We used a bath bomb from Neocoven which coloured the water black and added some dried flower petals. We didn’t know if it would work out or not but it turned out amazing. I’m looking forward to doing more boudoir shoots in the future.
