Tricia and Tyson’s Golf Course Wedding

October 22, 2017 ·

We filmed Tricia and Tyson’s wedding yesterday. The day started off in a huge beautiful home filled with yummy breakfast foods like chocolate croissants, fruit, yogurt, and donuts. There were so many women there getting their hair and makeup done while really cute and well behaved kids played together and the eldest fed the toddler with a huge smile on her face.

The amount of love present that day was overwhelming. They have so many people that love and support them, hence the super large bridal party you can see in the photo below.

In the morning one of our cameras stopped working (which was super scary) but Kevin saved the day by going to the closest Henry’s and buying a brand new camera.Luckily the day and the video turned out perfectly! I absolutely loved their bridal bouquets and how all of the bridesmaids dresses were different colours. I loved how passionate they were about their wedding traditions while still finding time to have fun and be goofy throughout the day.

Shannon and Gregory

October 22, 2017 ·

We filmed Shannon and Greg’s wedding on Friday at The Doctor’s House in Kleinburg and beforehand at a smaller, more intimate, religious ceremony in the morning. What a beautiful location and what a beautiful couple! The Doctor’s house has so many beautiful areas. They have a white chapel that is somehow both modern and rustic. They have a gazebo out back that is perfect for pictures especially those doing a first look. The rooms they have for the bride to get ready in are so perfect and intimate. There reception areas are huge and have gigantic windows along a large wall that also opens to the outside with seating and heaters.

Shannon wrote the vows for herself as well as Greg and she really has a way with words. I really enjoyed her vows as they were funny, clever, and heartfelt. The wedding planner All That Jaz Weddings did a great job on everything. The day was absolutely flawless. During the speeches I learned that Greg injured himself really badly in a pool incident not too long before and it made the day that much more meaningful that he was able to be there and in good health.

Pedro and Mark’s Engagement Shoot

October 16, 2017 ·

I’ve known Pedro since elementary school. He was always one of my best friends and he is always someone who is cheerful and hilarious at all times. I first met his significant other Mark at a mutual friends wedding. I liked him right from the get go. Mark was very similar to Pedro, maybe a bit more shy, but they complimented each other perfectly.

When I found out these two were engaged after Pedro proposed to Mark in the distillery district (in the same exact place we did the shoot) I was so excited and couldn’t wait to get some photos of them. The Distillery District is so beautiful!

When we found out it was supposed to rain Pedro and Mark were a little apprehensive about keeping the date, but I told them that we would end up with the perfect lighting and it turned out absolutely wonderful. I really liked how the water reflection shots and the umbrella shots turned out.

After the shoot Pedro and Mark took us to a wonderful dessert place. I can’t remember the name of it but I ended up getting some sort of cheesecake dish and it was one of the most delicious desserts I’ve ever had.

I hope to meet their adorable spoiled chihuahua puppy Harloewe sometime soon and get some shots of her too.
